Controversial Interview with Siavash from Eternal Love on Viral Show; From Accusations of Being Gay to Passion for Fashion
The second episode of the fourth season of Viral Show featured one of the most controversial figures from the reality show “Eternal Love,” Siavash. Known for his unique style and striking appearance, Siavash candidly discussed accusations against him, his interest in fashion, his experiences on the show, and rumors about his sexual orientation in this exclusive interview from the Alara Entertainment website.
Starting the Journey: From Clothing Sales to a Love for Fashion
Siavash explained in part of the interview that his passion for fashion began in high school. He started his first job at a clothing store where he became captivated by clothes and style. According to him, his most valuable asset might be the diverse collection of shoes he has gathered over the years. This serious passion enabled him to always present unique and different looks on “Eternal Love,” making him one of the best-known participants.
Joining “Eternal Love” and the Challenges
When asked why he decided to participate in “Eternal Love”, Siavash pointed out that the show was an opportunity to enhance his personal portfolio and even make it easier to obtain influencer visas in some countries. He admitted that entering this show was not simple except through friends in Istanbul who helped him gain entry.
Fight and Accusation of Violence
One sensitive topic was the controversial video showing a fight between Siavash and another participant, where some accused him of violent behavior toward a woman. Siavash explained, “I did not intend to hit her; in a moment of anger, I moved my hand toward her shoulder but it accidentally touched her face. I apologized immediately and resolved the issue. I accept that it was a violent act, but it was not intentional.” However, the video sparked campaigns against him, and some brands he worked with stopped collaborating. Siavash attributed this to media selection bias: “Media always looks for a victim, whereas worse incidents happened on the show but were never reported.”
Sexual Orientation Controversy
One of the heaviest pressures on Siavash was rumors about his being gay. He seriously explained:
“If you remove this controversy from me, there’s nothing left to say about me. The truth is many fabricated these rumors to destroy me. Sexual orientation is not a choice; it is inherent in a person.” He emphasized that such baseless accusations were made solely to damage his character: “When people couldn’t logically respond to me, they resorted to rumors. This reflects the sensitivity in Iranian society about these topics.”
Severe Psychological Pressure and Editing Role
Siavash also revealed important behind-the-scenes facts about “Eternal Love”:
According to him, a 100-member team managed the show and many scenes were carefully edited before being shown to the audience. In his view, edits played a key role in shaping the “Siavash character”: “Some of our critical statements were deliberately cut so viewers wouldn’t understand the full story, creating a distorted image.” He openly stated that without scripted scenarios, risking such a large investment would be impossible. Indirectly, behaviors were shaped to create drama and controversies.
Real Emotions or Acting?
During the interview, videos were shown of Siavash’s affection toward one of the women in the villa. He clarified that, contrary to what viewers saw, those emotions were not deeply real but rather the result of the special conditions on the show:
“If you stay on a secluded island for weeks, loneliness causes you to react to anyone. But the reality was different; some entered the show already engaged.”
“Double-dealing” Controversy
Another accusation against Siavash was that he instigated fights and conflicts among other participants. He denied this and said, “I always spoke directly to people. However, editing made it appear I was speaking behind their backs. This was part of the show’s strategy to increase entertainment.”
Psychological Pressure, Nutrition, and Sleep
Siavash spoke about the severe psychological pressures during that period: “Sleep and nutrition were out of our control. Missing just two or three nights of proper sleep makes your behavior uncontrollable.”
Looking Ahead and Regrets
In the important conclusion of the interview, he admitted,
“This show helped me grow as I learned many things, but financially and professionally it harmed me. I still don’t know if I would participate again if I could go back. Some days I say I wish I hadn’t, some days I’m glad for the unique experience.”
